Queer Testimony Service

In honor of National Coming Out Day, MashUp in partnership with Nashville Black Pride, the Human Rights Campaign Nashville, and Sapphic Empowerment, presents the Queer Testimony Service!

Inspired by the tradition of an old-school praise, worship, and testimony service, the program will feature a musician and singer who will lead us through moments of music, reflection, and celebration. Come celebrate the testimonies of coming out, becoming visible, reclaiming their faith, embracing identity, and finding wholeness on our own terms.

The service will take place at Swett’s Restaurant, a Nashville original known for its classic meat-and-three menu and the warmth of an after-church soul food meal. It is a fitting setting for us to gather around the table, share our stories, and celebrate the courage it takes to live openly and fully.
