The Impact of Our Programming & Events

Our Vision: Creating a Supportive, Inclusive, and Equitable Community

We understand that fragmentation—when someone cannot bring their whole self into healthcare spaces—creates barriers to well-being. Our work demonstrates that when people are able to integrate all aspects of who they are, they make healthier choices, access more appropriate care, and build stronger support systems.

MashUp! Programs

At MashUp, we don’t just offer services—we illuminate the roots of inequity. Our work is grounded in the belief that real change begins with self-understanding. When people are supported in integrating every aspect of who they are—mind, body, identity, culture—they become empowered to make informed choices, seek affirming care, and build lasting systems of support. We don’t provide one-time solutions; we nurture lifelong transformation. Click the links to learn more about our current programs, listed below.

Giving Out Loud

The Giving Out Loud Brunch is our staple MashUp! Weekend Fundraising event. Each year we honor and celebrate individuals in our community who have contributed to advancing the well-being of the Black LGBTQ+ community.

MashUp! Weekend

MashUp Weekend is a three-day cultural festival and community gathering that celebrates the brilliance, resilience, and joy of Black LGBTQ+ communities. Each year, it brings together art, nightlife, family, and purpose — creating a space where our culture is uplifted, our stories are centered, and our collective power is undeniable.
