About the Event
We're excited for our own, Jerry Ivery to join in the conversation for The Male Gays: Artist x Activist Conversation at David Lusk Gallery. The convo will explore art as remembrance and resistance, the legacy of the AIDS epidemic, and the legislative and healthcare challenges facing LGBTQ+ communities in Tennessee today.
This is the first in a series of Artist x Activist Conversations hosted by pARTisan, a five-day pop-up exhibition exploring the intersection of art, politics and civic life in Tennessee.
Come early to see work from more than 30 artists (starts at 5pm, convo at 6pm), stay for the conversation, and then head to the East Side with us afterward for music and drinks at Canvas.
